Spheroidizing annealing for raw material

Standard – UNI 10990

Globulization annealing is a heat treatment process in which components are heated to a temperature of approximately 670-700°C for a duration sufficient to heat the entire section. Afterward, the parts undergo slow cooling to room temperature.

This process is typically used on raw material to achieve a globular microstructure through a phase of cementite spheroidization. The achievable hardness depends on the type of material used.
